The end of the year is approaching...


"Awake"

Last night, my boyfriend and I went up to Cinema 14 in Wilkes Barre to go see "Awake." Going up there was actually a last minute thing, considering that when I went to check the movie times for the Regal Cinemas in Hazleton, the movie wasn't listed! :roll: GAH! But it was a good time, we had fun.


The movie itself was slightly different than what I expected, but in a good way. There were a few unexpected twists that I really liked, which made the story even more heartwrenching than I thought it would be. All I could say is that you just have to go see it, and judge for yourself.

Photography Updates

:bulletpurple: I should be getting a new battery for the Minolta SR-T 101 over this weekend. Considering it's completely manual, and film no less, it should be interesting to see the types of results I'll render with it. And then the scanning! That should be fun.

Once I can master manual film photography, then I can call myself a true photographer. ;)

:bulletpurple: I got the new lens a few days ago, and even though I haven't really gotten the chance to completely try it out, I love it so far. I can't wait to see what the wide angle can do...

:bulletpurple: My friend Sean asked me to re-take his senior shot for the yearbook, as his head size is too large in the picture he wanted to use.

:bulletpurple: I'm still in the process of editing some wedding photos from last week, which my boss really liked. I wish there were more weddings scheduled in the winter, b/c I'm really starting to like them.

Extras

My 18th Birthday is coming up on the 9th! :party:
It feels like it took forever to get here. I don't think I really want anything special for it, except just to be close and happy with the ones that I love- especially my boyfriend Dean. :heart: We've been together so long and I'm really thankful for what we have together.

But other than that, I suppose that a few awesome pictures would suffice... or a Daily Deviation. That would be AMAZING. I don't think I would ask for anything else, ever.

In the meantime, I'm just busy expanding my creativity! :)

It's cool that you are using a manual camera with film, but you don't have to scan everything you can order your photos both in paper format and on CD so that the quality will be better than from a scanner.
