Im thinking of a Greek myth and also Sisyphus, where the reflection is a more beautiful and coherent picture of reality, but is completely transient. Your pensive look is a more accurate description of yourself than the reality in front of the mirror.
Is this your house? Everything in your house has an antiquated quality to it, I love it
You're so beautiful!
This picture is getting at something inside of me.. I think most people can relate to it because mirrors don't always reflect the truth, what we feel, or what we really want to see. On the other hand, sometimes the reflection isn't always negative and we need to grow into acceptance. Whatever the meaning is for you, I'm sure it creates individual meaning for anyone else who looks as it as well.
I'm glad that you got something positive out of my picture! That's the exact idea that I was going for. I think that a lot of people hold some type of pain within themselves, and even though they hide it from the world, when they look into the mirror, they still see it themselves. That's what I wanted to get across by shooting this. I'm happy you were able to see what I was getting at!

and when I first saw this picture as your ID, I was totally taken aback by it!
It's fantastic. If this were entered into a contest, it would win.
